Lindsey Frances Jones is a mixed media painter, illustrator, printmaker, writer, and teaching artist based in the NYC and NJ area. She is passionate about art as a gateway to accessing the visual language of self.
Her work has appeared in galleries, museums, and juried shows around the U.S., including in Cambridge, MA; Princeton, NJ; Brooklyn, NY; and Shreveport, LA. A solo exhibition of her work, entitled I Was Made in Shapes, was displayed at Teachers College, Columbia University in 2022.
Lindsey holds a Bachelor’s degree from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study and a Master’s degree in Art and Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has also trained at the School of the Visual Arts, the Woodstock School of Art, Robert Blackburn Printmaking Studio, Manhattan Graphics Center, and the Penland School of Craft, and other leading studio schools.
